All Caught Up, I Think
Ok, I think I am caught up now. Yesterday was really busy, but there was a lot accomplished on the homestead.
Bread is baked.
Laundry is done.
House is clean.
Chicken nest boxes are clean.
Mt Poop has made its final move.
Sold lots of eggs.
Spun cotton on the takli and plied it.
I'm tired just thinking of all of this.

Here's my takli cotton spinning. It finished as a two ply at about 50 wpi, give or take a few lumpy spots. I plied it back onto itself on the wheel. The needle is a size 0 so I could see if this size worked for an Orenberg. Seems ok to me so far. I still don't know what kind of fiber I want to use for the shawl itself. And I need lots more practice with the cotton before I take on that spinning. I need to make a spindle holder thingy too, setting the takli in a glass to wind it off was a real pain in the butt.
Onward to another day! Bye Bye!

I'm impressed! I don't like spinning cotton, never mind spinning it that fine. Good going! :)
