Green Merino/Silk is Finished
Here it is all plied and drying. It worked out to be about 45 wpi and I'm guessing about 40-50 yards. I haven't counted the yards yet, so don't take that figure as the gospel truth. I would love to find a small lace project to use it with. Something like a doiley. I'll have to ponder that thought, and wait for the yarn to tell me what it wants to be.
My turkey gal is still sitting on her empty nest box. I really feel badly for her sitting there all alone. Cant change nature though. Miss Rabbie hasn't tried to eat my fingers for a while, I think the nose thumps she got changed her attitude for the better. Changing her litter box is on today's chore list. She has wild bunnie friends visiting her at night, seems the like the hay she drops. Even the big jack rabbit has been by to say hello. We seem to have had an explosion of wild rabbits around here in the past month. I have counted 15 of them at one time now in the yard, where we only had 5 of them before. The coyotes were out hunting in the area the other night, so that will most likely take the population down some. Its the first time in about 3 months since I have heard the coyotes nearby. Its nice to hear them back, as I was afraid the new construction by us drove them off.
Time to get the day started. Bye Bye!

Your spinning is beautiful! And your choices of colors are appealing, to me at least! Glad Rabbit hasn't tried to sub your fingers for carrots lately!
Thanks Leslie!
