Time Out

I gave myself some time out the past two days to spin on my wheel. I grabbed some Tussah silk and gave that a whirl. Its making a very nice lace weight single for me. Sometimes, you just have to spin!

Still got the packing thing going on. I try to get two boxes done a day. That way it doesn't seem so overwhelming to me. LOL! Slowly its getting done. We are shooting for the end of Feb. to move into the new place. The drywall project starts soon, and that seems to be the last major hurdle to jump. WOOHOO!!

Cookie sales are going well for my daughter, she is halfway to her goal so far. She got to see the prize she is working towards at the meeting yesterday, and is more determined than ever to get those cookies sold.

Some books that I had on order came in yesterday. Cant wait to get some time to read them. They are "Dyers Companion", so I may get brave one of these days and dye some fiber, and The Yarn Harlots "Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much" I got a few pages into that and it is so true!!! The quotes she uses are right on! Her meditations will become a mantra!

Gotta Run! Bye Bye!
